Are we old? How long ago was cheatsheets.net? (3 Viewers)

1989 and 34 years ago for my main league. Unfortunately, the way you know you're old is that we've had 3 of our owners pass away in the last 6 years... :kicksrock:

I came here from there. I think |I was early 20s. Gonna be 50 soon ⏳

Tick tock homies

We used to prepare for our drafts from magazines that were printed a month before we drafted, Injury reports came from the USA Today sports pages the day after practice.

I remember the first time I used the DD with a laptop at my draft. Everyone else had magazine and printed off cheatsheets. The guys were looking at me like I was Steve Jobs with new technology.

The first league I was in the commish bought the stats from a service and uploaded them to a GeoCities website.
Pretty advanced - my 1st league (and still going) commish used the newspaper & Excel. Luckily he was an accountant.
I don’t recall if I was around for cheat sheets, but might have been. First league I was in, and still am, started in 1999. The Charleston newspaper was the official stat collection spot. I’ve been commish since about 95, and I actually miss scoring the games by paper.

Was at FFT since day one basically. What a horrible place it is now unfortunately. My first year playing FF was probably 95 or 96. I remember being ridiculed for taking Troy Aikman to early in a draft back in the day.
