Are you starting D. Ward today and if so over who? (1 Viewer)

So Foster won't be playing. If you own Ward and are starting him, who are you starting him over? I have F. Jones and am thinking of sitting him for Ward.

I am thinking of sitting Best (TB front seven very athletic, scared of Harrison stealing carries) for Ward. Non-PPR standard

 
If HOU is going to ride the hot hand, the hottest hand they'll have is Tate.

and I own both.

because Tate>>Ward talent wise. They say Ward will start but Grant "started" the other day as well. Starting <> finishing and if Kubiak is going to ride the hot hand I think Tate has a better opportunity to be a hot hand during the course of the game than Ward does.
 
really considering Tate over Felix Jones. I like tate over Ward certainly, the share in carries is what worries me. Tate will have to do a lot with whatever carries he gets. It's a gamble.

think Starks last game against a worse opponent. He's got a good shot at 70 yards and maybe a touch. Indy's def stinks.

THis is exactly what I'm doing. I just don't see Felix getting enough carries against the Jets. Although he will be involved in the passing game, I just don't think he'll see the endzone.
 
Another huge factor to consider is the weather down in Houston ... last i checked it was supposed to be in the low/mid 90's ...with that Houston humidity sticking things up as well ... would expect a heavier rotation than most think, and the propensity to bust a big gainer on some gassed defenders is a very likely scenario as this game wears on.

Roof should be closed ... Especially with all the smoke n ash from the wildfires in the hill country out west this week.I'm starting Ward over middlers like JStewart, CJ Spiller, etc.Really interested to see how Tate picks up non-preseason blitz packages.Schaub HAS to stay healthy for this team to compete, can't emphasize that enough.It would be a little too ballsy for me to start Tate, if I had him.

I have him in 2 leagues.

Starting Chris Johnson and Hillis in one and Chris Johnson and Frank Gore in the other

Over Derrick Ward.

Easy decision.

No worries dude ... I really think the Ward/Tate split is gonna hinge on the pass pro issue I mentioned above (others have made this case as well) ... Tate has NEVER seen regular season blitzing. I hope he handles it well, just think they will take it slow since Leinart is the next man standing behind Schaub.

Can he not be a flex or do you have a wr3 you're starting over ward? I've got CJ, gore and tate as flex.
 
D. Ward over M. Austin. Thanks To M. Ingram I am in a hole and I need a big game. I dont think Austin can produce one with Reevis on him.

 
I expect the Colts to play hard this week. They have been roasted in the media all week about how they suck without Manning. They got a chip on their shoulder, and even if they lose, I think they will be very competitive. If for this week only.

 
Starting Ward over Mathews. But that's strictly due to matchup dynamics.

I own both Ward and Tate in another league but I'm starting Gore and CJ. Playing the Foster owner and just felt like being a ####. ;)
