Foster is expected to start, but Ben Tate could play a larger role than normal.

Please post links if you've got them.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Arian Foster (knee) is expected to play on Sunday.

Schefter did note that Texans coaches want to see him in warm-ups first, though. Head coach Gary Kubiak called Foster's removal from practice early in the week "precautionary," but one still wonders just how much work Foster will see against a weak Dolphins team. No. 2 running back Ben Tate is fully capable of carrying the team to a win. With Miami and Houston set to kick off at 1PM ET, we should know more about Foster's status in a couple of hours. Arian Foster is active for Sunday's opener against the Dolphins.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported early Sunday that Foster would indeed be active despite Friday's missed practice, and that's the case. While we don't strongly anticipate a scaled-back workload, it wouldn't be surprising, either. We'd still start Foster with confidence as an RB1. The Texans' Week 1 inactives are WR DeVier Posey, QB John Beck, CB Roc Carmichael, CB Brandon Harris, OG Brandon Brooks, OL Andrew Gardner, and OLB Bryan Braman.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Texans have confirmed that Arian Foster is active for today's game against the Dolphins.

On the CBS Fantasy Football Today show, Ian Eagle (game announcer) reported that Gary Kubiak told them that Ben Tate would get 2 touches for every 4 Foster touches. Not sure why he couldn't say 2:1 ratio but that's what it sounds like.

If that's the case, I still think Foster gets ~20 touches, which makes him a must start.
