Armon Binns (1 Viewer)

Detroit Revival

For those in deeper leagues, what's your take on Armon Binns? Seems like he's been completely overshadowed by Hawkins, catching 9 of 9, but this might turn out to be a fluid situation. Any insight from anyone who watched the game would be great.

The WR situation after AJ isn't defined yet.

IMO opinion he did just enough to keep him interesting, but I think the Cinci pass offense is a concern. I am holding and hoping for a decent game 5/75/1 and then I will start trying to trade him

Just want to see if it'll turn into something more. I think he's definitely a guy to have on your radar in deeper leagues. Looking at the snap count he was on the field for 56 offensive snaps or 78% of all offensive snaps. He's got to be doing something right and could see more action in the coming weeks.

The most interesting thing about Binns is that he's a big target - conceivable he'll have a little red-zone value at some point. The thing is, the #2 role in Cincy really is a cast of 5 right now - perhaps a couple weeks will show a definitive shake-out but I still get the sense that all these guys will get their moment in the sun (unless somebody really really grabs hold of the job). Binns did get about the same number of snaps as Hawkins did last week. Cincy Jungle does a good job of tracking this every week: Linky

I was intrigued by Marvin Jones pre-NFL draft, and as a Bengals fan was happy to see him land in Cincy. As the season progresses, I could see some changes in opportunity for targets along with Green. It wouldn't surprise me to see Jones end up getting a shot at some point.

Another decent game for this guy last week, catching 5 for 66 and all of his targets while playing 70% of the snaps. I haven't got to see him play but from the stats and his measurables it seems like there may be something to see here.
