He also says Clemens is probably clean. Although he's been right a few times this guy is the Larry The Cable guy of the steroid conversations.

He did not say Clemens is probably clean.He said he did not have any personal info on Clemens and he posed a scenario where the trainer could have made it up, but that hardly is probably clean.For the record, I trust Canseco on this as much as anyone. The guy has been right too often.

Believe it or not, I think Jose wants to be a credible source on the subject. He's not going to drop a dime if he doesn't have first hand info, which he probably doesn't in Clemens case. Hardly means the guy is clean but just means Jose isn't going to rat out every person on conjecture.If people want to still believe Roger might be clean, I feel for them, because they are ignoring everything that they have seen over the past 10 years. Of course I thought the guy was guilty before the Mitchell Investigation and I sure as hell think he's guilty now. Sure, his trainer is probably not a good guy, probably not even the most trustworthy source, but Clemens is still guilty. Case closed on this and I hope Roger's chirping that he is innocent brings more evidence out against him. He can't look much worse I suppose but it will still be worth the price of admission.

Well I think you might be right about Canseco wanting to be a credible source. He has a stake in it now and I'll guarantee you he sold some books today. But he better be right on A-Rod because this is gonna come back on him and I think that's a bit out of line. As far as Clemens goes for the record I thought he would be on this list or another later. However the evidence is pretty damn flimsy and I think he has a right to be angered being convicted without any evidence. Wouldn't you agree? I mean they could be right on Clemens and everyone else on that list but what if they are wrong? Just once? Doesn't that take the credibility of this type of investigation away? I'm just being a devil's advocate here and I never was a big Clemens fan but at the same time I really do believe in the rights of an individual when they are accused of something without the proper documentation. That is gossip and I've never been a big fan of gossip because it's often somewhere between 0 and 80 percent true, but we never know exactly where the needle lands.
