Arod and Blonde (1 Viewer)

Anyone have a link to the pic of Arod and the woman he is supposedly having an affair with?

Thread has become a discussion on whether or not athletes are fair game for the tabloids, or if their privacy should be "respected"

We've Been Scooped

We were planning on running a blind item about a particular ballplayer and his mistress tomorrow morning but a certain newspaper beat us to it. That sucks for us but it is still better than being in the guy’s shoes this morning. Here is the item that we were intending to post :

Always Suspected…Finally Confirmed

This married AL Super Star is not bashful about flaunting his current fling. She flies all over the country with him, with her parents in tow. So, inquiring On the DL fans want to know, what does she look like? Well, she is in her early 30’s and is best described as a washed up stripper (familiar pattern with this guy). She is a buxom blond (that definitely came by way of an infield assist), with plain features, which she does little to enhance. The team joke is that he wears more make-up than she does. Our joke is that a girl’s boyfriend should never be prettier than she is.

Well, even though we have come to terms with the fact that we aren’t the first ones to bring you this story…we do have a few additional fun facts to add for those of you who are interested in this "not-so blind" item. Apparently, the lady in question’s name is Jocelyn. According to our source, she has known and been traveling with the player for awhile [ at least since late March] and his teammates all know who she is. Her parents are even aware of the tryst as they recently flew in for a game with her dad carrying a baby under age 1 in his arms. We are not sure who the child belongs to, but her parents are in their 50's...so you all can make your own conclusion there.

So that is what we know so far. Our information is still rather speculative at this point so pleased by advised to take it as that until we, or a certain NY newspaper, can bring your more details on this hot topic of the day.

I'll reiterate what I said in the other thread, why is this anyone's business? I mean, I understand if there's a legal matter or somehow "officially" distracting the team(paternity suit, etc)

But to think its out of line that a ballplayer cathouse on the road, come on. How many of those reporters living the road life never stray? How many newspaper editors never stray? I'm single, for good reason right now, I would be incapable of straying at this point. But I do know if I was married, at least in my master plan, I wouldn't cheat, its not for me. But who are we to judge anyone here? If your buddy cheats, do you go home and tell his wife? It seems really womanly to even care that he's doing this.

If he's not hitting or he's an ##### in the club house or if this was a more substanital distraction, that'd be one thing, but this gossipy crap is for the birds. Who knows how their marriage works?

Perhaps ARod and his wife are separated and she knows about this. Perhaps they have an open marriage. WTF knows. I doubt hed be stupid enough to be photographed with a woman he was having an affair with.

ORLY? :)And to NYNJMUFF.... What makes it so funny is its' Arod.. the guy who has gone to ridiculous lengths to cultivate and maintain a squeaky clean all american boy image thorugh his career. Now he's out doing this. I could care less about the guy's fidelity to his wife... it's widely known that most baseball players have road tail.... but it's just funny that squaky clean arod is getting nailed to the wall with photo evidence. :lmao:

Now you are just giving Arod too much credit here!As a NYY fan and I have Arod on my dynasty team........ who cares? Pro ball players, married to not, tend to "entertain" lots of different wimmen............ At least that is the perception!

Well, if his wife didn't know about this, being seen was clearly an error in judgement. I dont know, I guess I can see your point, but I never felt he aggressively peddled his marriage for his own benefit. But I don't look for that sort of thing, so I don't know. I think these stories have more merit when you hear two celebs talking about how they found romantic happiness and here's how, etc. I never got that vibe out of A-Rod. I don't recall himself trying to project himself the model husband, certainly not in comparison to how I thought he tried to project himself to be the model teammate. I'm sure there will be articles about how he loved his wife, etc, but I never took it to define him, not remotely. My issue here is less with him, but with people that would criticize or publish this stuff, when again, it seems like simply infidelity, because it seems like an inherently selective judgement versus who feels judgement, and who gets attacked. I'm probably the furthest thing from an A-Rod apologist in these forums, he's earned a lof of the crap he's gotten, but as a man, I dont' like to see him take this heat. I don't condone what he's doing, but I won't be personally critical because I don't broadcast every bit of infidelity I come across in my life.

The minute Arod decided to pursue a major league career, he knew he was going to be under scrutiny. It is part of the deal - get paid millions and accept the fact that your personal privacy is now gone. That's the way it is.

If you have a problem with it, do you tell your buddy's wife if you caught him stealing a kiss at a bar? Do you tell your bosses wife?

This happened this weekend actually - nope - I don't tell, but if said friend was a MLB player, I suspect it would have made headlines - in fact Andrew Bynum was at the club it happened in - I am sort of surprised they let him in - pretty high profile underaged dude tearin' up the dance floor.

Ok, I'll presume you didn't share this information out of some base ingrained male loyalty and the fact it's ultimately none of your business. If its good enough for your life, I don't see why its not good enough for someone else's. The abdication of privacy is a very real thing, and a fact of life, but there are lines that don't necessarily need to be crossed. We don't publish his phone number or social security number or addresses, so its not like its complete free reign to all angles of his life. This is admittedly more of a gray area, but in a story about a ball player, unless its affecting the team, I just don't get it.

When the whole story about ARod's therapy sessions came out in the press, he trotted his wife (a psychologist) in front of tabloid TV shows pretty quickly...http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/mari...basegame25.html
So he mentions there basically he had a wife that helped him. I've never seen him hide behind his wife, nor drone on about what a happy marriage they have. I don't doubt there is an article to disprove that, but an obscure piece versus his established image, well, I don't know, I just wish there might be some honor left. And if these are the "new rules", then lets hear about everyone, everytime. I've got news for you, you have a newspaper that was as thick as the phone book everyday, between athletes, entertainers and politicians that stray. Its not for me, but what they do is none of my business.

Its a fact of life, celebrities lives are public lives. If you are high profile, this is going too happen. Whether its fair or not doesn't even matter, it is reality and something they need to deal with.

Don't like it? Either don't cheat, don't get married or marry someone who lets you have an open relationship. Those are the choices.

Personally I think marriage for a professional athlete is an insane choice but if they are going to make that decision than they should be prepared to deal with the consequences.

Jefferson, the media will do what the media will do. Again, that's their hypocracy to deal with. But are you being personally critical of him? Do you have a problem with this guy cheating, and if so, how do you handle it in your real life. Believe me, it leaves a sour taste to defend this guy, but I gotta call a spade a spade. If he's getting divorced and this story comes out, thats one thing, but this is the kind of thing that can cause a divorce, and its not the media's role to engineer this.

The media storm that will come out of this will be brutal.

His wife must be all over him like a cheap suit.

If you don't think this will affect his fragile psyche, which in turn will lead to him struggling and the Yankees struggling even more you are kidding yourselves.

I wouldn't dispute that, and he could be about 126 million dollars lighter

I could care less if he cheats on his wife. I wouldnt judge anyone on that. However I think he is a dummy to be married in the first place. I just don't understand the need. I really don't. These guys cheat because its readily available, exact same with anyone in Hollywood. It takes a different kind of person to be able to stay away from it. But knowing that up front, why get married. I understand the straight laced God Fearing guys getting married but anyone else that does so is an idiot.

A-Rod's a cad. We know this, as are many, many professional athletes.

Time was when beat reporters would keep this stuff hush-hush. I've never been into the tawdry gossip reporting that this obviously amounts to.

I can't disagree with you there. Why do most people get married though? I'd bet true love is a minority motivation, I think many will look for some island of stability or some elixir for happiness. But that's another discussion for a much different thread, but suffice to say, I don't get young rich men getting married either, seems like craziness.

it's the NY Post...its their bread and butter besides Hillary bashing.

From that one pic, she doesn't really look all that hot.
I am counting on the series of pics that follow in Playboy - you KNOW they have already started hunting her down and are meeting to decide what number to throw in front of 000,000.
