NEW YORK -- Alex Rodriguez was injured during batting practice before Saturday's Yankees-Red Sox game when a line drive off the bat of Lance Berkman, who was batting right-handed, apparently struck the third baseman on his left shin. In obvious pain, A-Rod hobbled around on the infield grass for a few seconds before staggering into short centerfield, where he rolled around on the grass before turning face down.

Berkman is off to a rough start as a Yank. Trading for Lowell might have been the better option.

Ha I did indeed. Saw the video on Fox, he wasn't looking and talking to Joe Buck of all people and got a line drive laser buried into his left ankle, went down like a shot.
