Bucs homers - How is Benn looking? I know Mike Williams has really caught fire and has become Freeman's favorite target. Is Benn in the doghouse? Dinged up? What does his future look like in Tampa?

Haven't really heard anything about him. He currently has no fantasy relevance and probably won't until the end of the season when they try and get the young guys more involved.
OC Greg Olson said rookie WR Arrelious Benn took all the snaps in practice today as the Bucs work on getting him ready for a bigger role. <--Twitter
This could be interesting esp with Blount maybe seing a few plays based on Sundays performance...
"The Bucs have begun the process of integrating Benn more into the offense as he took virtually all the snaps at flanker during Wednesday's practice, the St. Petersburg Times reports.
Recommendation: This means a likely move back to the slot for Sammie Stroughter in the near future, who is not an ideal fit as an outside receiver because of his size, but Benn certainly is. It has taken Benn a while to get up to speed but keep an eye on this talented rookie as he could work his way into fantasy consideration before too long."

"Rookie Arrelious Benn took all the flanker snaps at practice Wednesday as the Bucs get him ready for an expanded role.
The Bucs are planning to come out of the bye with significant changes on offense. Benn could very well be their starting flanker, with Sammie Stroughter kicking into the slot. N ow that we know the Bucs are serious, Benn can be added as a flier in deep formats."
Option 4 in TB passing offense. As a homer, I would only recommend Benn in very eep redraft leagues. I've heard all year that he has struggled picking up the offense. Probably doesn't help that he has such a stud drafted two rounds later starting right across from him (Tampa Mike).
I can't see him with more than maybe 18-24 catches, 240 yards and probably 1 TD. I follow very closely.
Finally some positive news. It's apparent they are trying to get the young guys on the field so maybe he will be relevant before the end of the season...
