As a general rule.... (1 Viewer)

As a general rule do you like playing your offensive players against your opponents starting Defense??

This gets VERY little consideration when I am selecting players. I want to put up the most points possible, so I'll start the guy(s) I think will have the best week. If he happens to play my opponent's starting D, so be it.

Depends upon my opponents D. Either way I don't let who my opponent's D is impact my roster decisions.

The only time my opponent's roster factors in for me is when I am deciding between two similar WRs, if my opponent has the QB throwing to one of my WR then I may lean in that player's direction.

ETA: Hey Jersey when are you going to release Volume II of your sig?

Do you really think an NFL Defense's play is affected by what players richn starts for his fantasy team?

So why start your players accordingly. Start the players you think will score. Anything else is stupid.

I always play my best players regardless of matchups. The reason I started this thread was this week I have a dillema Edge/Portis. The guy I'm playing has the Eagles D going. I was wondering if that should bump Portis up or down because of the Eagles. I probably am playing Edge.
