Plummer and Lelie are developing chemistry quicker than I thought they would. Yes, the long td was blown in the secondary but after watching three games, I would rather have Lelie than Rod Smith. Skeletor is drawing up new plays featuring the speedster downfield and Plummer is looking for him, not at him. He is no one week wonder, he becomes a full time starter this week for a lot of teams, good job in being patient with him.

How much of Lelies time (and targets) was due to the fact that Smith got tossed for his right-cross on the ump?
Let's see...He gets three catches for 100+ yards and a score. One of those receptions was due to BLOWN COVERAGE and it just so happens that it was a 44 yard catch for the TD. He will not get those "gimmes" every week. Take that away and he has a very pedestrian night of 2 catches of 56 yards. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut and that's way I attribute his performance to last night. It's almost laughable that you guys are so desperate for this guy to succeed that you don't see the forest for the trees. He is mediocre at best and anyone still clinging to him is doing so on false pretences. Patience has nothing to do with it. It's more like stupidity.Give it up. He's not the savior and never will be. Go ahead and start him next week. I guarantee you will lose.
Realizing that it was only 1 game, the kid had 3 long catches. He is supposed to be the up-and-comer of the team, and their existing receivers are not getting younger. Bottom line is the kid has some talent and is worth a roster spot on speculation alone (as long as you are not counting on him as your #1 or #2 WR), especially if you are in a keeper league or one that rewards long touchdowns.
