The Entire Detroit Tigers bullpen over the last four years. Nathan stands out as the worst. When the opposing fans gives a pitcher a standing ovation when you enter the game, you know you are the suck.
Leon Durham, Cubs, 1984. Late in game 5 against San Diego in the NLCS, he lets the ball go through his legs and SD ties, then wins, the game and advances to the World Series against Detroit. I'd moved to Chicago five years before, and I was all set to enjoy the WS between my Tigers and the Cubs. But no ...
I think just as many Cubs fans would put Lee Smith right there with Durham for giving up the Garvey walk off HR in Game 4.

As much as I kind of like the Cubs , the ultimate outcome was the Tigers completed a marvelous season, so I would not change a thing.

I certainly did consider that, but outside of the 1994 strike, I always wonder if the Expos still would be in Montreal if they had gone to the WS in '81 instead of the Dodgers.

Guess I also could blame Jim Fanning for bringing in Steve Rogers.

What goes around, comes around. Umps got Atlanta back in the '97 NLCS game 7 when lard-ass Eric Gregg gave Livan Hernandez the biggest strike zone ever recorded. It was so egregious that experts actually measured it via tape and found he was calling a strike zone 5 feet from top to bottom and 6 feet wide. Some of these strikes challenge the imagination... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mR3eK5gCChM
Dammit EG - I had almost gotten over this. I still remember this game. It was like a bad dream - I mean, he couldn't possibly be making these calls, right? I was so happy that fat turd didn't get his job back after the labor dispute. It was so egregious that it's in his main Wiki page (granted a Braves fan may have done that)

"He was known for being a pioneering black umpire, for his longtime weight problems, and for his controversial home plate umpiring in Game 5 of the 1997 National League Championship Series, when his generous strike zone helped the Florida Marlins' Liván Hernández strike out 15 Atlanta batters."

RIP you blind, fat *******
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'll never quite get over that one. That team should have won it all.

Bryce Paup for taking out Randall Cunningham in Week 1 of 1991 - that was the Eagles year
There might be 5 other Superbowl winning teams that would even stand a chance against the 91 Skins and the Eagles weren't one of them. That 91 team is in my top 3 all time. I'm a Cowboys fan.

Lewis Billups and Stanley Wilson for their roles in SB XXIII. Billups dropped an easy interception with the Benglas leading 13-6 early in the 4th quarter. Next play Montana hits Rice for a TD and it's a tie game. Wilson got coked up the night before and didn't play. He was a big part, and under rated piece, of the offense. How in the world do you get high the night before the biggest game of your life?! :wall:
The Stanley Wilson stories is one of my favorites. I tell it to anyone i meet who doesnt know it. I also tell them about Lott knocking Woods out of the game and how Cincy still almost won.

Too damn funny

First and foremost Pats owner Robert Kraft FU! I know he's not an athlete but he gave me the biggest **** punch of my life as far as sports go. I will never step foot in Gillette as long as he owns the team and I've been going to games since Schaeffer Stadium. Honorable mention goes to Ulf Samuelson.

Poor guy died in 2005 at the age of 45. Really tragic. Seriously.
That ##### should have been jailed for that. As bad as Kermit Washington / Rudy Tomjonavich
Wow thats probably the dirtiest play i have ever seen.
Albert Haynesworth down?
Id rather a cleat dug in to my skull than be slammed by a lineman

Turkey Jones on Terry Bradshaw also has something they'd like to say.

In the midst of a feud over questionable calls, Terry Pendleton once left a cheeseburger on third base for Eric Gregg.

Thought I replied, but don't see el starro, so...

TIKI BARBER

Self absorbed malcontent. NOT a Giant and in retrospect never deserved to be called on. Shallow, pathetic excuse for a teammate (and apparently as a person as well)

denis potvin breaking ulf nilsson's ankle, wish the rangers had him for the finals that year.

For you youngsters, if you ever watch a ranger game, you Will randomly here a guy whistle "raise the band" i think. instead of that, ranger fans chant "potvin sucks". this chant is now 37 years old. honorable mention chant is "beat your wife potvin, beat your wife.....clap clap".

I was going to say Potvin - or even Willie Huber from the '86 Finals - but '94 exorcised those demons.

I'm more angry with two guys from my team than with players from other teams.
Going down this path.......Lee Evans & Billy Cundiff for me
How about one from each?

Matt Dodge / DeSean Jackson

It makes me mad every time I think of them.

David Tyree for Pats fans with that helmet catch. Bob Kraft for stealing my season tickets and ruining Pats games.

Also, that ump who blew the perfect game on that play at first a few years ago was unforgivable. Tigers pitcher I think. The kid handled it better then I would have.

Arthur Lee and the Laker pretty boy Madson from Stanford for stealing our URI final four appearance in 98. Lamar Odom for being ineligible on the bench during said run also.

Grady Little.

Michael Cooper

Desmond Howard.

Wade Boggs for riding that horse.

Matt Cooke.

Kevin Walker (Bo)

But Adam Graves tried to break Mario Lemieux's wrists in the playoffs. Got the suspension he deserved.
