Atlanta fans, who are we rooting for? (1 Viewer)

So I'll admit it, I'm a bit afraid to face Green Bay and Philly. Of course I know we will possibly have to play one of them to advance to the Super Bowl, but who am I kidding, I'll take the easier route if possible.

The way it stands now, should I root for Philly, thus sending Seattle to our house next week and letting Chicago and Philly battle it out? I feel pretty confident we will beat Seattle at home, and in fact I feel strongly that if Philly wins, we will be in the NFC championship.

However, if Green Bay wins today, they come to Atlanta next weekend. Yes, it's a very tough matchup and they definitely could beat us, however, we win that game, we then host the winner of Chicago/Seattle, who I feel we would be a favorite against at home in the Championship.

So again I ask, who are Falcons fans rooting for to win this game? I'm leaning towards Philly, just so we can get some momentum before taking on the Philly/Chicago winner in the championship.

Can't see Seattle repeating the intensity they mustered up against the Saints. Without that, Seattle will have crazy long odds against the Falcons. The team's post-game celebration in Seattle last night was over the top, being celebrated much like a Super Bowl victory -- where do you go from there?

I think you gotta root for the Eagles. A Seattle/Chicago path to the superbowl is much easier than a GB/Chicago path.

If I was an Atlanta fan you have to be rooting for Philly. Wouldn't you much rather play Seattle then Green Bay ?

I sure would.

I think Atlanta vs GB is a very tough match up that could go either way but they should destroy Seattle at home.
