Vick has looked good. Crumpler almost caught a TD pass. But Vick has been accurate. Jenkins 4+ targets, white hasn't done anything yet.
Vick has not looked accurate at all. A few have been behind his receivers, a few have been overthrown and a couple have been thrown where only the defender can make a play on the ball.
Vick looked sharp, half the incompletions were catchable balls that were dropped. His decision making looked better as well.
Do not blame the receivers for those turds he was throwing.
My general impression was that Vick looked very good. There were several times people around me were cheering an incomplete pass and I was thinking "Why are are you cheering - Tennesse didn't defend that, the Falcons receiver dropped it."

KevT,There are a lot of board members who did not get the chance to watch this game and are looking to this thread for observation on the players and how they performed. Please refrain from posting inaccurate information.TIA.

Sorry my information is accurate, a lot more than Vick's passing. Yes Vick did look good when he was running, but when it came to passing he did not look accurate. They were on the 5 yard line, he did a curl to the outside, looked like he was going to run it in, but he saw Crumpler open. He threw the ball, Crumpler strechted out as far as he could, and he could not bring it in. It was a sure TD if it had been more accurate. The following play, it looked like a fade route in the endzone to Jenkins, the ball was thrown short, and Jenkins had to turn around at the last second to just barely get a hand on it. It could have easily been a pick, as the defender had a better angle on it. A couple of the drops you mentioned were broken up. If the pass had been thrown in a better place, the WR would have had it.Vick started the game throwing to Jenkins, short accurate passes. It was looking good. But for whatever reason he started to get away from that and he kind of zeroed in on Crumpler for a while. As for Schaub, he had a couple of nice throws, but overall he did not look impressive.Shockley, has a great arm. He can really fling it without effort, or though it seems. Accuracy wasn't there for him though.Randel - this guy hasn't been cut yet?Not that it has anything to do with the thread, but the Falcons will be lucky to win 8 games this year, their schedule is very nasty.

Norwood -- 62 yds TD!Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanm. How did he look -- that game ain't on here.
Hi NoFB,He looked great. Not good but great. He's scary fast. I was casually watching it while working on the Email Update and I thought it was about a 30 yard run. It was over that fast. That's the kind of speed he has.Even more imprissive though was his run later in the game at the goalline. They were on about the 8 or so and he took the run up the middle and was stuffed. He kept his legs driving and bulled his way free for about 7 yards almost scoring. Eddie George is doing the game and was going wild. VERY impressive.I'm not saying he'll over take Dunn right now but he looked very good tonight. Not at all afraid to be physical and take contact. He definitely looks to be in a great position for down the road.J
Jerious Norwood Miss St 5'11" 204lbs 4.4 Summary: Deep Sleeper alert! This poor kid got stuck running behind 4 bags of potatoes and a statue at Mississippi State and still put up 1000 yard seasons on the regular. Everyone knew he was getting the rock, everyone stacked to stop him, his O-line blew chunks and he still racked up the yards. He's got great speed and vision and on the right team, he has a legit shot to be an NFL starter. None of your casual league members will give him a look, but you are now in the know...and knowing is half the battle (GI Joe 1984).

for those that get NFL channell, the ATL-TEN replay is scheduled for 12 (midnight) PST...

i'm interested in seeing for myself how accurate or inaccurate vick looked... i'd encourage others interested to DVR game and compare notes tomorrow...

My 2 cents on Vick was that he looked pretty much like he always does. You may think that's great or not but to me, he didn't seem much different than normal.

Who's kicking FGs and PATs for Atlanta, Yelk or Koenen? whoever wins this job is in a good spot, in a dome, on a good offensive team in a division where games end up 13-9. either kicker would fly under the radar in most leagues and represent good value as a backup PK. I hope it's Koenen, he was lights out in the first few games...
Update?
