Hey folks,

We're going into our auction draft and I'm used to snake drafts where we all track the players that are taken on a big board for the whole league to see. What do you guys track on these boards for auction drafts?

A few things I'm thinking of are:

Dollars available per team

Players taken per team and dollar value of each

So, what do you all track on these boards? (if anything)

We keep track of a bunch of things because we do it on Excel and have a projector. If I had just a board, I'd recommend keeping track of players on each team along with their values and how much money everyone has left along with how many spots they have left to fill. This will let everyone know the maximum number of dollars a team can spend on any player.

Things to track:

1. Rosters per team

2. Remaining Money per team

3. Maximum Bids for each team

I created a spreadsheet in the past, but have since switched to using the Draft Dominator on my laptop. It makes the auction draft smooth, seemless and fun for everyone.

I would avoid using a projector if using the Draft Dominator....no need for anyone to see your rankings and values.

In our auction draft, the Comish uses a laptop with a program that keeps track of everything. It is each teams responsibilitly to watch their own stuff. The Comish will help you out but if you don't keep up you will get Sh&t from the others. We stop 3 or 4 times for checking numbers
