So there are a number of sources for AAVs out there that are extremely helpful for those of us approaching auction drafts for the first time this year. And most of these values correspond to actual drafts or mock drafts in 12-team leagues. The question that I've been pondering lately is how are these values affected in larger leagues?
It seems obvious that a player like Chris Johnson has a larger value over "worst starter" because that player is now the 32nd best RB instead of the 24th best RB, but Maurile's auction method suggests that Johnson becomes less valuable as more teams are added. So which is it? Do you pay more for Johnson? What about a mid-tier RB like Jonathan Stewart? As a corollary does anyone have access to AAV for different size leagues for comparison?
