DA RAIDERS

im flying out for the game & have never been to the stadium. where are the best places to sit, besides the obvious? are the endzone seats any good? is the upper level too far away?

tia

I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Watched the Falcons-Cards playoff game from literally the top row on the corner and the view was perfect.

End zone seats are good too. Especially on the end zone where they roll the field in, because they have shallow bleachers and you're close to the field. Forewarned though: There is one end zone section this is "family friendly" that you cannot bring beer into.

Couple other notes:

- Depending on where you're staying, give yourself time to get out there. The stadium is WAY out on the west side.

- If you don't already have one, I highly recommend getting a parking pass close to the stadium. You can find many of them online. If you park in the visitors parking its a long ways away and you have to catch a shuttle to. (Awful after the game, lines are endless.)

thx sammy. do you know which endzone section is the no beer zone? *important* :lmao:

we are staying at the downtown hyatt. should we just get a car to drop us off & pick us up, rather than rent a car?

I'm not sure there is a "no beer zone" A taxi from downtown will be pretty expensive, I'd say $ 40-50. Downtown is a long way from the Glendale Stadium.

I really like the Ring of Honor seats. They are upper level but overhang a bit so you get a great view of the field.

I agree that taking a cab from downtown to the game will cost a bit. Especially with traffic to and from the game. If you are just coming for the game, you should get a closer hotel (Arrowhead area isn't bad and it's about 8 or so miles away). If you get to the game about an hour early you will sail right in into the parking lot. Also you should enter the stadium about 30 minutes early because if you cut it too close you will miss the introductions and the national anthem. The crowds get pretty bad about 20 minutes to game time. If you can score a parking pass, you should for East Preferred, the Grey pass. It costs 20 bucks per game but it is well worth it. You get out of the stadium much quicker.

You aren't going to be one of those goofy "paint your face and wear a costume" Raider fans are you? I am hoping to not see too many of them on Sunday...
