Own him in a couple keeper leagues and have been waiting for him to come around. I've had my doubts for over a year now. The guy just isn't that good.

Like too many guys who get there on talent, his brain never matured in this game. But when you see flashes like the 2008 playoffs, I see why you keep him. I had to cut him in a redraft in early August last season he was sinking my team so bad, and my only regret was not doing it sooner.

I think if he had the right structure or manager or veteran leadership in a room, he might better realize his gifts, but right now, he came up on a crappy Rays team, got it to the World Series as a key cog, so I sense he feels bullet proof.

I think he'll never be a star in Tampa, but there's too much talent and too much time on his side for me to write him off for good. But whereas we saw a ceiling of Willie Mays with him, maybe its more like Ron Gant, which would still be a hell of a bump for this guy. Right now, he's on the train to Glenn Braggsville.

I was thinking more along the lines of Corey Patterson.

I think he's the type of guy that could blow up once he finds a new home.

Whether that blow up is a good one or a bad one, I haven't yet decided.

At this point, potential is not enough to keep him at 3rd or 4th round value. I've been trying to sell for over a year and no one will bite.

Got him in the 6th in a startup this year, no bites here either. We're both stuck with our thumbs up our asses or selling low. I'm holding...and praying.

He tried so hard to learn to hit the ball the other way...now he can't pull the ball.
