B. Jacobs & A. Bradshaw this year (1 Viewer)

fantasizing

I've read somewhere that Jacobs injured his knee early last season and that drastically affected his performance for the remainder of the season.

Bradshaw had a bunch of surgeries this off-season to cure his ailments.

Which one of these two do you see emerging in 2010 ? If you had to pick 1, which one ?

Will it be mostly Jacobs with Bradshaw spelling him? or more 50/50 split? Will Jacobs return to his role as a goal line back?

I just looked at an average draft for the month and in a 10 teamer, Jacobs is going in the 8th and Bradshaw is going in the 11th. At those prices I would not be opposed to locking in on both of them as rb 3 and 4 if possible. If one were to go down permanently, you would be sitting on a gold mine.

I just made a move for Bradshaw in a dynasty league. I think he's the more dynamic player. He was just as hurt as Jacobs was last season, if not moreso. I recently read that he wore a walking boot Monday through Saturday and still played far better than Jacobs on Sunday.

Jacobs seems more like a gimmick to me. He's gigantic but those guys don't generally have a long shelf life anyway and his ship may have already sailed.

And even if neither one goes down I don't think you can argue with getting both at those prices. Both guys basically played entire NFL seasons as RBs with pretty significant knee/foot/ankle problems. Plus I think the Giants O-line underperformed last year as well.I like the chances that those things don't happen again this year. Look at the productivity that the Giants had in 2008 and I consider Bradshaw an upgrade over Derrick Ward. At their ADPs I love Jacobs and Bradshaw but given a choice I have a man crush on Bradshaw. He was my sleeper of the year last season this time and if not for the injuries I think he would have delivered. Im thinking he emerges this year as the Giants leading rusher while Jacobs returns to double digit TDs.Again, at those prices I LOVE both guys. Their ADPs remind me just how reactionary rankings are from year to year.

I've made a couple of deals myself to acquire Bradshaw this offseason, and attempted to do so in a couple of other leagues. I actually felt that even a couple of seasons ago in limited playing time, Bradshaw looked almost as good as Jacobs already, and there isn't a comparison when it comes to pure speed. Time will tell if the injuries that impacted Jacobs last season are a thing of the past, but I just can't see him being the horse of the running game at this point.

I see Eli Manning getting a lot of love lately but his threads include projections  . There is also a ton of man crushes on the S.Smith / Nicks wr combo suggesting that the Giants are going to a pass first offense.

I know the general idea is for me to ask, and also post my own, but I'm currently undecided how balanced I think the offense will be. What #s can we expect from Bradshaw/Jacobs (considering they're healthy)
