Back up RB in Indy? (1 Viewer)

Any info on who is in the lead for the back up RB spot?

I think people are not putting enough value in this question. There is a RB one Addai injury away from getting plenty of touces in the Indy offense.

Right now it appears that Dorsey is in line to be the back up as he is getting the first shot in the preseason games, and is playing on third down stuff even when Keith is in the game, however, by watching the games it looks as though Keith is running better and looks more comfortable in his limited action.

Also, another note is Keith has looked fairly good returning kick offs for Indy.

Right now this is how it looks.

1) Addai

2) Dorsey although he has looked shaky

3) Keith seems as though he will make the squad because of return abilities and has showed promise carrying the ball

4) Dawson outside shot at winning the role and who knows if he is going to be on the team

Anyone have anything on this situation, I think it is valuable trying to get Addai's back up especially in this offense.

Your list looks about right. I would add that Keith has a gimpy ankle so I think that puts him behind a little. I could see Dorsey as the COP back and Keith as Addai's backup, if that makes sense?

Keith looks to be the better, more explosive runner of the two.
