I wouldn't be surprised if the burning and looting is kept to a minimum tonight. The Black Panthers and Nation of Islam seem to be running things. My concern is violence against the police. Might be open season on cops tonight.

He's right. The protests were peaceful until Saturday when over 1,000 agitators came in to the city from all over the country.

Probably a limited government conservative that would go ape #### if the national guard was called out for his militia buddies. But hey it's only a bunch of criminal blacks go get em military.

Yea....I was wrong. I am embarrassed for my city and state.

Watching local news, a bunch of cops were carrying an injured cop to a cop paddywagon and rioters were throwing rocks at them. I saw a number of cops throw the rocks back. Why don't the cops use tear gas, rubber bullets, whatever?

Now cars are driving up to a mall in the area where there's no cops and "people" are jumping out, running into the mall, and running out with handfuls of stuff. WTF is going on!!! They are destroying the stores in their communities!

 
You know how I will never be afraid of being in this same situation? Because I am a law-abiding citizen and have never committed a crime. This dude had 20 total charges against him and some still outstanding. Were the cops wrong in what they did? Perhaps if the evidence plays out. But black or white, I will never put myself in the same position.

Because being guilty of the pettiest of crimes should result in death. Chances are, you -- yes, you -- broke a law today, it just wasn't enforced.

 
When people are educated on how racist and evil America is this is the only acceptable reaction to that truth. Otherwise you are an accomplice to the oppression of minorities!

This is stupid. Eric Garner was guilty of selling loose cigs. He wasn't violent at all. Getting the death penalty for selling loose cigs is ridiculous.

And Gray wasn't violent against the cops in any way either. His spine was 80% severed. That didn't just magically happen. Cops aren't judge, jury and executioner.

If the city wasn't this the people of the city would see their city being burnt down get their ### off the couch get in the street and knock the agitators back where they came from.Of course we are good citizens so we will just sit back and wait for someone else to do it.

This is what I don't get. I understand it's a sensitive time regarding police using force and that the police are vastly outnumbered here, but why are they being marched out there to basically play dodgeball (except with bricks)? Where are the rubber bullets? The gas? They need to be able to protect themselves.

These photos from the UK Mail make me sick. People are using this poor kid's death as an excuse to get free Pringles. They should all be in jail.

 
Apparently the religious leaders are now marching down the street trying to stop the violence. When interviewed about the emergency in the city they responded "there has been an emergency a long time. An emergency of a lack of jobs, poverty, and disenfranchised from the political process."

How does that tie into looting their own businesses? It's time someone take responsibility and stop making excuses.

And btw, the majority of leadership in the city is black, the police chief is black, the mayor is black, and half the police force is black.

Will the trashed and looted Baltimore Mall reopen? Or just be a shell. Very sad....hope it does not kill that area.

Yeah, this is confusing to me. Maryland is largely Democratic. Baltimore definitely is. There has been a whole lot of black political leaders in both Maryland and Baltimore. Who did they want in power in Maryland and Baltimore that hasn't been?

Ya. Really disturbing honestly. People who clearly have zero interest in "protest" out to drive to a mall, rush in and steal as much as they can carry and run out. Scum.

 
Friend of mine throws BP for the White Sox......just texted that they couldn't get a bus to pick them up from the stadium.

Ended up with a walking police escort to their hotel.

Said it's very scary there.
