Improved LB D.Jones Seeks To Keep Starting Job
Bob Brookover, Philadelphia Inquirer - [Full Article]
HC Andy Reid said over the winter that LB Dhani Jones "can do a better job than he did last year." That's about as close as Andy Reid ever comes to ripping one of his players. DC Jim Johnson said Jones was being pushed for his starting job as the Eagles' strong-side linebacker, and he meant what he said. Jones is expected to get competition from LB Greg Richmond and rookie LB Chris Gocong for the starting job. "I committed myself in the off-season to being a better player, and I will be," Jones said. He worked out in Spain and California.
