Beanie Wells (1 Viewer)

You can never trust what a player says about their own health but I think it's a positive that Beanie thinks he can play this week. That leads me to believe he doesn't believe the injury is serious. That bodes well for his chances to return next week in a sweet matchup against the Rams.

I still think he sits Sunday but we'll see if he practices at all the rest of this week. The Cardinals aren't likely to win with him but they have no chance to win without him so there is motivation for the team and Beanie to play if he can even if it appears to be a lost cause either way.

Anyone selling with this news?

Wonder what his value is if you go RB (Daniel Thomas, Mendy perhaps?) or cross positions for WR (Steve Johnson, AJ Green?)

I don't see how you can get value for him. He was a top-10 scoring RB before his injury. I doubt that's how he's getting evaluated. I'd rather trade FOR him if possible.

Didn't Beanie SAY he was going to play a few weeks ago and then didn't play?

Yup. Precisely why you shouldn't believe what a player says. He did come back the next week, though, and looked great.

Yes he did. Week 3 against Seattle

If your a Beanie owner, you really should prefer that he sits this weekend, and is back to as close to 100% next week vs STL.

Ok, I'll just ask:I have a bye on Week 9, when ARI gets the Rams. So, should I trade Ingram for Wells?Yes, I have that offer posted to me right now.
Asking trade advice is a sin in the SP. Erase this post before the dorks get ahold of it.

I'm optimistic about his chances to play next week...

Coach Ken Whisenhunt indicated that Beanie Wells' (knee) availability for Week 8 won't be determined until Sunday morning.

Wells made a surprising return to practice Thursday, and he's expected to try to ramp up his activity level on Friday. As was the case a few weeks ago, Beanie is more optimistic than the coaches and the medical staff. His status is still very much in doubt.

I don't see Beanie suiting up...and if he does, it will only hinder his ability to have value later in the year.

don't do it Beanie, Ravens aren't the ones you want to feel tentatively healthy against
:goodposting: For the sake of all that is good, Beanie, don't even try it this week. Hell, I'd prefer he not even make the trip. Stay in AZ & get treatment; be ready to roll week 9 when I REALLY need you.
