People are just arbitrarily hating on this guy like he wasn't a First Round Pick or something. When healthy he has produced. Furthermore, every time Beanie has touched the ball roughly 15 times or more he has produced:
2011:
Week 1: 18 Carries / 90 Yards / 5.0 YPC / 1 Touchdown
Week 2: 14 Carries / 93 Yards / 6.6 YPC / 1 Touchdown
Week 3 (Seahawks): Didn't play, injured, same injury that hampered his performance down the stretch.
Week 4: 27 Carries / 138 Yards / 5.1 YPC / 3 Touchdowns
Week 5: 20 Carries / 60 Yards / 3.0 YPC / 1 Touchdown
Week 6: Bye
Week 7 (Steelers): 12 Carries / 42 Yards / 3.5 YPC
Week 8: 22 Carries / 83 Yards / 3.8 YPC / 1 Touchdown
Week 9: 10 Carries / 20 Yards / 2.0 YPC
Week 10: 23 Carries / 62 Yards / 2.7 YPC
Week 11 (49ers): 8 Carries / 33 Yards / 4.1 YPC
Week 12: 27 Carries / 228 Yards / 8.4 YPC / 1 Touchdown
Week 13: 20 Carries / 67 Yards / 3.4 YPC / 1 Touchdown
Week 14 (49ers): 15 Carries / 27 Yards / 18 YPC / 1 Touchdown
Week 15: 15 Carries / 51 Yards / 3.4 YPC / 1 Touchdown
Week 16: 14 Carries / 52 Yards / 3.8 YPC / 1 Touchdown
Week 17 (Seahawks): Didn't play, season finale, didn't want him to aggravate his injury in meaningless game.
Beanie Wells received about 15 carries (we'll throw the 14 carry games in there) in 11 of 14 of his matchups last year. The only games he did not receive those carries were:
1 game against the 49ers.
1 game against the Steelers.
1 game against the Rams
In games where he received a minimum of 15 carries, Wells posted season stats of:
215 Carries / 952 Yards / 10 Touchdowns
or
19 Carries / 86 Yards / 4.5 YPC / .9 Touchdowns per game.

That is certainly starting Running Back quality numbers. He scores Touchdowns, he is their Red Zone offense and Ryan Williams will not take away his Touchdown totals. Seattle is a game where he will see 15 carries and looking back to last year (ignoring the fact he was injured).
When Wells gets his carries, he produces. Start with confidence.
