Honestly I don’t think the shot to the EZ was the designed play call. It looked like a QB run to the outside, and for whatever reason CWill had a brain fart or panicked and decided to throw instead. Monangai was covered up and the only player in his field of vision was (obviously) covered by Nixon. But Caleb thought he could finesse it over him.
Narrator: but he could not finesse it.
Look, with 4th and 1, why get cute? Run for the 1st. If you can’t get 1 yard on the ground, you don’t deserve to win anyway. But pick it up and you have a fresh set of downs.
I hated wasting all that clock, too. Sure, Brady loved it, and if Brady was the Bears QB maybe you do that. But since he’s not…. Yeah.

Unfortunately for the bears. Fortunate for FF shareholders. He’s been criminally underutilized all year. Dude has a lot left in the tank and it’s just baffling. Duvernay made his 2nd catch of the year today, and somehow had 28 yards more than Moore. Inexcusable with Rome out.

They absolutely wasted clock. Had the defense on their heels. Credit Pack with the big hit on third down but Williams had an easy run out of bounds first down stop the clock on the last play. Will never know what he thought he was seeing as the receiver was behind the defender. Went toe to toe w the Packers and then this garbage. Is it 2024 again?

not to put words into Kerms mouth but I think he thinks I'm disputing the holds. I'm halfway joking that the refs and the NFL are making intentional no calls to impact the game.

Williams breaks out of the pocket and is on the run so fast at the first sign of any kind of rush that is it tough to get into any actual passing rhythm and finding receivers. Just looks like he is on the move and whoever he sees is getting the ball.

Yeah, he's not the next Deion, but he's been a lot better than i expected and love how angry he plays.
It's wild watching this play after play. Amazing how much pressure he gets after double and triple teams along with being headlocked and hugged. Fortunately it doesn't seem to matter all that much, but i hope come playoff time they call atleast a few of the more egregious holds.
