Bears at Vikings (1 Viewer)

Any word on Bears K Robbie Gould?Gould has a left calf strain and is questionable to play against the Vikings on Sunday, Judd Zulgad of 1500ESPN.com reports.Spin: The injury happened during pregame warmups, according to the Chicago Tribune, and it's a potentially devastating blow to fantasy owners with Gould in their lineups. Is he playing?
He's not kicking off but I believe the Bears expect him to handle FGs. No opportunities yet.

Kluwe with a great punt that pins the Bears within their own 5 yard line.

Don't believe he called anyone a lustful #### monster but the game is still young.

No long field goals either. Have to believe they would have tried on that 53 yarder. U

Nice job by MIN DB Smith to get a front row seat for that Marshall catch. Wouldn't have happened if he would have actually played defense.

I'm not a Vikings fan by any stretch, but you simply CANNOT leave Marshall one on one defensively. There is no other player on the Bears offense you need to be SO concerned with that you leave Marshall in single coverage.

Another pass for a Vikings first down! Ponder hits rookie WR J.Wright and moves the chains.
...and they do it again but this time to the right side.Bears almost get a sack but he gets away and attempts a pass deep that's broken up in the endzone. Charles Tillman banged up on the play.

Cutler continues to avoid pressure and hits Marshall with another pass for the first down.

Weird play follows that looks like a Cutler fumble but recovered by Bears for a positive yardage.

Brief synopsis of the game, besides the Bears suck. Not at home.
AP and Marshall are beasts that neither defense can stop. AP responsible for 70% of Vikings offense, 2TDs. Bears turned it over once, leading to the 2nd Vikes TD. Bears have been able to move the ball, but their FG range is limited due to Gould injury, and have stalled out short of scoring in all drives so far.Bears driving and almost to Vikes 20. - scratch that, 24 yard TD.

AJ Jefferies fumbles and Ballard recovers. Apparently inside 2 minutes the fumbling team can't advance the ball.

Cool. Tx. At home now. The game is actually on TV here.

Jimmy says "Peterson is going to need back surgery after the season because he is carring the Vikings" . The expression on his face suggests that he thinks this is news. LOL

Great decision by the Vikes to start triple teaming Marshall. Cutler still throws to him under those circumstances

Another punt for the Bears as they can't sustain the drive.

Robison is getting no pressure which is ridiculous against a beatup Bears line. He's not having to battle through multiple blockers so I don't know what the trouble is.

Vikings coaches must not realize that Webb has the ability to hand off the ball as well.

Update on snow blower status: I have yanked the startup cord (or whatever it's called) completely off the machine. Guess the wife will have to shovel when she returns from shopping.

After she makes my lunch.

Vikings slowly moving the ball up field as they continue sabotaging their efforts with silly movement penalties on the O-Line. This has been a problem for several weeks.

Ponder avoids a sack with an awful throw toward the sideline. Could have been picked off as it floated across the field.

I think it was too high to be picked off, but it was the exact same mechanics as the one that did get picked off at the end of the first half. He really needs to fix his footwork and pocket presence.

Bears selling out against ADP and keeping his yards in check. Crowd is getting restless and they are gonna go nuts if the Bears score next.

If you triple team Marshall long enough, you'll get one of those (and not hurt yourself with single coverage elsewhere)

Here is a hint Cutler.. Don't watch Ponder play.. You don't want to follow his examples.. ;) TD VIKES!!

Interception for TD by Vikings!

Cutler's throw to Marshall is overthrown and grabbed by Harrison Smith who takes it half the field for the score.
