Bears v Titans (1 Viewer)

Cutler is throwing the ball well. He is solid if he limits mistakes and doesnt get killed.

Roy is Roy. He just isnt very good.

He has moments where he looks good, sprinkled in with heavy doses of dropped passes, bad routes, bad timing with his QB, etc......

Earl Bennett seems to be Cutler's favorite target as of now.

the beardls only signed williams for a year at $1.5m. they could cut him tomorrow and it would have.been a good signing just to see if a change back to martz's offense would kick start his career. It looks like it isnt, but its hardly a horrible signing by the bears.

That said, the Roy acquisition seems an utter shame for the Bears.
Seems? If you aren't watching the games/camp, why are you commenting?Water is wet too.
I'm utterly baffled by your comments. Unless we have a Big Brother scenario here, how could you possibly know whether I'm watching his preseason games or not? Also, I'm curious about what your perfect world criteria are for someone's reasons to comment on messageboard topics. If you enlighten me, perhaps I will refrain from commenting on a topic if I don't met your standards regarding motivation to comment.Notwithstanding my puzzlement at your comments, I am a Bears fan. The acquisition of Williams is one of my bigger disappointments in NFL offseason movement.

It's not horrible per se when looked at in a vacuum. However, if the signing was at the expense of signing better WRs who could have been working with the offense the last few weeks, I would rather have seen what other WRs could have done for the Bears.

Plus it's only good if they actually cut him and let Knox play full time. If they let him play it out and pay him the $1.5 million to split time with Knox, then it's downright moronic.

Knox hasn't looked any better than roy this offseason...I'm not sure it makes a difference...

Knox CAN catch, and speed doesn't slump...or take plays off...or get alligatory...or say dumb things like, "That wasn't a drop, I didn't have any drops." or "I'll be ready by the start of the regular season."
