Ringo baby!  A lot of people are not aware of it but look it up.  Great song.  Great vibe.

Who doesn’t love Ringo? That song was always a highlight of their sets circa 1963-64.

Sixty years later it’s still part of the ASB repertoire. One of two Shirelles covers on Please Please Me (Baby It’s You.)

U.K. had virtually no exposure to Tamla (forerunner of Motown) or similar R&B crossover labels. What seems passé now was actually pretty groundbreaking in context.

I had these ranked 1 and 2 from this album when I was breaking down my lost for the top 25 rankings. I see now reason to change this right now.

I find I quite like many of the songs on Please Please Me and there's really not much to choose between my top 4 or 5. For now I'm sticking with these 2 as my favorites.
