Beautiful Weather (1 Viewer)

Just wanted to note that the weather here in the mid-atlantic has been super nice all week. Hopefully all of you facing tornadoes and droughts and what not find yourselves in some nice weather soon.

And #### you winter!

Hard to believe that three weeks ago I still had snow in my driveway. 78 and sunny today. In Connecticut we maybe get 15 days like this all year.

Funny how this will get far less play than the storms thread.

It's been a nice run here in DE.

I looked at my pics on my phone. 3/24 my kids were playing in a foot of snow. 4/24 my kids are playing in the sprinkler.

The southeast got blasted with brutal heat the past few weeks.

Todays high is 68. A bit rainy, but still beautiful.

After several weeks of temps in the upper 90s we had thunderstorms for a couple of days here in South Carolina. Now the temps are in the mid 80s and wonderful.

We had my dad’s Celebration of Life this past weekend in Northern Illinois. The weather was perfect. Sunny and 78 with a nice breeze. The weekend prior it was 90+, this coming weekend it will be 90+. We really lucked out, especially considering the majority of guests attending were 75+ years old and we were having the ceremony outside. For the past 6 months, through the planning phase with my siblings, the #1 concern I had was the weather. Apparently all of that worrying worked and we were delivered a picture perfect, Midwest day.

It even had my wife and I more seriously considering finding a place in the Midwest for summers. We have been in the South (Atlanta and Miami) for the past 30 years, but are both from the Midwest originally. We have casually talked about finding a summer spot in Northern Illinois or Wisconsin on a lake over the past several years but the Chamber of Commerce-type weather like this that may seal the deal sooner rather than later.
