The new way of life where the wife wears the pants is a pretty awful strain on many marriages. My ex and I had this situation and it ended up blowing up. She had a lot of resentment from not being able to raise the kid and on top of that, she was out there every day in the working world getting hit on and what not.

Anyone who is going into this type of arrangement should think long and hard before committing to it.

There are some real challenges when a Christian man can not live up to this pedestal his wife puts him on. While that is the goal (it should be every Christians goal) there also has to be a Christlike grace when the husband messes up. Because he will. A realistic Christian marriage is really more about communication, respect and grace than anything resembling the 50s housewife.
