At the time it happened I was quite suprised. And I am suprised this has not ben mentioned much. Fourth and 13 from the 31.
Gotkowski has plenty of leg, they said he was making 55 yarders in warmups, there were playing in a windless dome. So the % play was kick the FG.
Was it a coaching blunder or just arrogance? Those three points would have came in handy at the end.
