The bolded part is incorrect. He finished 5th last year in FBG scoring.

One thing about rankings or projections is that they are predictions of the future. Past performance is part of it, but there are other factors, such as younger players improving and older players declining, the team being better or worse, change in philosophy, and concerns about injuries. There are more, but these are just a few. We can't just go by past history alone.
My final ranking had Ben 8th. I didn't think he would repeat his top 5 of last year because I expected them to run a lot more. But the real reason Ben is struggling is because the offensive line has been terrible. I don't think a top 5 ranking was out of the question. The QBs after the top 4 are pretty close.

I thought Ben would not be able to keep up his efficiency. He doesn't throw the ball much.

If I recall though, his attempts were way lower than the other Top Qbs. I figured either his attempts would increase (not likely) or his stats would decrease (more likely).

I know he has started off slow, but one has to think with the running backs now all basically injured, Pittsburgh is going to have to throw the ball a lot more now. I have to think that will skyrocket Ben's value, just like it did last year with Willie injured.

I understand that but whichever of the non top 4 guys you want to put in the #5 slot just as compelling arguements can be made for or against them. They do have a much more difficult schedule this year that could have quite a bit to do with it.

What do you expect of him this week against J-Ville and beyond? I would be worried that with no run game teams can really tee off on him.
