No one did - and it wasn't arrogant given LT's history in Denver. I never said he wouldn't have a big game - in fact, I predicted aroun 80-ish rush, 50-ish rec and a couple TDs. I was off by 20 yards each category and 2 TDs - not sure anyone thought he'd have 4 TDs against Denver's D.

I ended up going to a jewlry show with my girlfriend, her mother and her sister in New Orleans. We had to leave at 9 AM Sunday. I wasnt sure if Alexander was going to play, so I benched him and went with the less risky Tomlinson and Kevin Jones...

So, all in all, I got lucky by not benching Tomlinson, which yes, at first was a crazy thought and I posted about it for all to ridicule. It snowballed into a dare type situation wherein I had to bench him, but at the end I had to play him for a girly reason...

No win situation.

You never had SA in your lineup..since you posted this from Thursday (with your web site) I checked it since Thursday and it was LT all the way..so your excuse of shopping is another lie (you can't bench SA if he's already on the bench)...unreal people here.

This was when Alexander was supposedly looking great after practice Wednesday. Not that I'm proud I was going to do it.

After that the reports i read were Alexander wasnt 100% sure to get the carries, so i changed it. I posted this thread because I was asking myself, "I cant be that stupid can I?" I thought it would interesting as i pretty much had to be the only idiot in FF to consider it.

It became irrelevant when Alexander was not sure to get all the carries.

Shame, if I saw that I would have taken you up on it. I've thought all week he we just tired of hearing he didn't play well in Denver... though I didn't quite expect THIS kind of performance. 180 total yards and 4 TDs is a monster game against a defense like that. This just in: LT is good.
