Here's the setup. Let's say you have the NO WRs, Horn, Colston and Copper. Let's also say you have a decent WR on Dallas, like Terry Glenn. Lastly, let's say your playoff opponent is starting Tony Romo.
You are perfectly set up to make last minute changes to maximize your chance of winning this week. Okay, I admit, that's my situation this week, lol.
If I find myself up by a decent margin after the afternoon games, I can sit back and play Terry Glenn knowing that if Romo blows up Glenn should (hopefully) take a piece of the action and keep up with Romo.
If I'm behind, I can't count on Glenn to help me catch up as Romo would be getting points also (although only 4 pts for TD and half the yardage pts). In that case, I have to hope Romo has a bad night and go with whoever is starting on NO (worst case Copper).
I know that this is a special case, but the general principle should be helpful now that all the late Sunday games will be decent.
