Bengals vs Bills - Week 3 (1 Viewer)

The Bills had been awful in all 3 games in the 3rd quarter. Just terrible coming out of the half.

This team better sack up and play some quality football.

Cracked a 12% beer, because god dammit if the Bills are gonna choke this away, I'm at least gonna get drunk.

(spoken like a true Bills fan)

Oh boy. Passing game just totally getting shutdown. O-line not giving the intermediate to deep routes time to develop and Allen having a tough time reading the zone defense.

Everyone was complimenting McDermott earlier for going for two. I can't imagine the math was anywhere near suggesting a punt there.

I'm just going to say it: Tre White is a good, not great CB.

And Edmunds is way too big a dude to not be able to shed blocks and make tackles like he needed to on that big Mixon play.

Well, Bills have to go win it now. And with how they've played in the 2nd half, this looks like the makings of yet another loser Bills team that can't win the games they should win if they are an actual playoff team. Pathetic.

Dalton has had the Bills' number for years now; this second half is no different.  Can't really ask much more of the defense.  Offense has to be better than this.

"BUF decided to punt to CIN from the BUF 45 on 4th & 1 with 9:14 remaining in the 4th while tied 14 to 14.

With a Surrender Index of 9.45, this punt ranks at the 96th percentile of cowardly punts of the 2019 season, and the 92nd percentile of all punts since 2009."

You said the same thing over and over about Stephon Gilmore, no? Now he's possibly the best CB in the league.
Yes/no. I said Gilmore was elite but gave up way too many deep balls. He still did his first year in New England. Not as much anymore, although part of that is scheme.

Not sure if you mean 'players' or 'players and coaches', when you say offense, but I blame play calling for most of this collapse.
I'd say both, though I've long been critical of Daboll's playcalling.  I can never tell if it's a McDermott decision to go conservative or a Daboll decision, but it happens every game.  It's time to ride or die with Josh Allen.....we find out he is or isn't "the guy".

I like the TD call. 3rd and goal at the 1, just power it in.

What's nice is that Allen's ability there makes the defense have to take an extra split second to make sure it isn't a QB dive or bootleg.

I have a hard time seeing that as a 'give yourself up'. Had he layed there for 2-3 seconds or more, sure... But he bounce right back up and ran back to the endzone.
