Any New England homers hearing any news on Watson's status ? Rumor has it he was seen walking around after the game just fine but with New England you never know, plus with my other TE playing Thursday decisions must be made.
Brady didn't pass a whole lot...didn't complete a whole lot. It was rough. Watching, I didn't think he was "done". He took a real good shot but that was all I got from watching it.
He hasn't become the clear cut top TE some thought in preseason. Graham still makes it a TE by committee like others correctly thought.
Pats used a 4 WR looking set a bunch where Graham and Watson were the inside "WRs". They're trying to get him mismatches still.
Graham probably had 3 catches in the first 2 drives but then fumbled and only got one more after that.
I don't know who your backup is but unless he catches a deep ball, he seems like a rough start in FF. I don't know how you'd predict that and am glad I fought the urge to draft him.
Dec 14 Michael Parente, of the Woonsocket Call, reports New England Patriots TE Benjamin Watson (leg) missed portions of practice Thursday, Dec. 14, and is questionable for Week 15.
OJ Santiago was signed by the New England Patriots this week as a backup TE. I'm not sure what to read into this other than Watson and Graham are both banged up.
