Out of these options...its the best.

Great with chili over it...great in tacos, quesadillas, burritos, on nachos...

Verstile and great just with tacos or in a bowl with some rice and grilled chicken.

The rest...meh.

Great Northern for white chili though.

Black beans are burrito fillers (for those that lack the good sense to just get pintos instead). Pintos are good enough to be the star of the show. With some corn bread, of course.

Pintos get overlooked because they are so common. But they are everywhere because they are so ####### good.

Beans are filler. Any bean can be awesome if it has a good entorage.

Basically, beans are the fat girl at the bar with 2 hot friends. She gets attention because of her friends, but on her own, nobody cares.

I find pinto beans to be disgusting, especially the refried "baby diaper" version.
