The Best Buy guys running this one were able to convince management they needed to bring back a game. I guess it's a natural tie in for promotions and prizes with all the stuff they have there.J

Thanks for posting this Joe. I know Best Buy is very excited to get this up and running again, and to be able to have FBG as our content providers! It's been five years since we did the last game, and there is a group of us at Best Buy that felt pretty strongly about re-launching a fantasy football game. It's been a crazy couple months, but we are pretty psyched with what we were able to pull together.We'd love to hear the feedback people have. The salary idea is a good one, and something I know we considered.The biggest request: Please tell your friends. That is the best chance we have of ensuring this game comes back next year...Steve

In the past, it was prizes directly to the people with the highest scores. Now, it's prizes to random winners who qualify by beating the "expert". That takes a LOT of the fun out of it, because you no longer care how well you do. I'd recommend going back to the previous prize structure instead of including the lottery system you've instituted. If you're in love with the "expert"/celeb idea, then give an alternative prize just for beating the celeb: any rewards zone member can get 10-20% off one item at Best Buy the week after they beat the "expert"/celeb.

It isn't totally random because if you beat the celebrity by more points than everyone else you will have more entries into the pool. So skill does help.And just to make sure everyone knows...There is a prize for the top score each week and the best score out of any one week wins the Grand Prize which is worth over $5k. But we will see how it goes and maybe split the prizing differently next time around. Thanks for the feedback.
 
I already created an entry but I'm not ina group. How do I get in a group after the entry is created? I see the link for Create new group but not one to join an existing group.

Didn't win the weekly trophy and the $100 that goes with it but I (and apparently a lot of other people) have 1000+ chances to win some sort of prize.

Yeah, but Reba wasn't too hard to beat. There are lots of people with lots of chances to win. :)I believe the rules say that as soon as the week is over the random drawings get selected and notified. I'm guessing if someone here won something they'd already know.
 
I was thinking maybe I should've tagged Brees instead of ADP, but it turns out with their scoring, I was better off tagging ADP after all.

Just joined the group - I had 3319 points from week 1. Week 2 picks are a little harder to do!

 
I finished 609th . Would be nice if they would post of their website who won the prizes so I can stop looking for an email.

No kidding. I thought about tagging him but went with Brees because I figured QB's would score more. I think I tagged Brees for this week too... Gonna have to rethink that...

Wow, even better. I think Brees is a safer pick as he is going to be consistently sick but this has the most upside, but if you guys lays a turd (AJ, Steve Smith, etc) then you are going to be the suck that week...
 
I guess it's because I didn't join the group until after week 1, but I'm listed as N/A, although my 3582 would've put me at 2nd in the FBG group. That doesn't make sense, though, don't know why it wouldn't count.

Actually it would put you 3rd, as I was not included in the list until after week one either, and I scored 3848 - good for 11th overall

Sorry, nevermind.I thought the rank number next to the group name on the "My Homepage" section was the rank of your group amongst all groups. It's just my rank within the group. :bag:

At the conclusion of each Week, a random drawing to award the weekly sweepstakes prizes will be held from among all eligible sweepstakes entries received for that Week as set forth in rule 2. The odds of winning any prize in any weekly drawing depend on the number of eligible entries received for that drawing. Winners will be notified by phone, email or regular mail, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Failure to respond to two prize notices within one week following the date of second attempted notification may result in disqualification, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. In the event of a disqualification, an alternate winner will be selected.

Everyone should probably check their spam email to make sure they didnt win anything and the message got sent there. I wish they would give us a day they plan on sending stuff out, that way we know if we have to keep looking! Hopefully FBGs can bring home some free stuff this year!
