Also I just checked week 5 and there is absolutely no way Joe and Dodds did these selections. Are they now letting the special guest each week select their players?They have 4 Browns selected this week.

I thought it was kind of silly for Best Buy to be picking most of the top players each week and making it hard for the avg. BB customer to do well against the celebrity.BB wins by having more people beat the celebrity and getting entries into the contest... not by busting balls with their picks.

If the celeb "chose" 4 Browns this week, it's safe to say BB finally figured this out.

Didn't get it week 1, but I've gotten it since. Can't say why. :popcorn:
 
I just got an email saying that I won the $25 Best Buy Card. Must have been from Week 1, because I didn't get any entries in Week 2 or 3 and forgot to put a lineup in last week.

Sounds like there is still hope for those of us that had entries the last three weeks. I only one two of the three weeks but maybe I gets me a prize too!!
 
The all american rejects are the opponent this week and they have Brady Quinn starting....and their double player is Jerome Harrison.

Has nothing to do with where you placed, as I understand it. You get x number of entries for the number of points by which you outscored the celeb. One of your entries was randomly selected.

I got the same winner notification today. I assume its for week 4 but I've won the past 3 weeks.
 
Does anyone know if this is QB 1 vs QB 1, QB 2 vs QB 2, etc? or is it really just total overall? I'm guessing total overall but thought I'd ask...

Total points scored overall.For every point you score more than the weekly celebrity you get 1 entry into a random prize drawing.

Thanks, that's pretty cool that they do - I apologize for thinking that they didn't.Out of curiosity, what guidance do they get to help make their picks?

Do you just tell them the scoring rules and they're on their own? Do they get a FBG's cheatsheet for the week to help them?... etc...

A couple of celebrities have surprised me with how shark-like their picks were... Reba in week 1 in particular.

Nobody in the FBG group was top 50, but we all beat the celebrity so everyone received prize drawing entries. A lot of competition for prizes out there this week.
 
Finally, after two weeks of ick, I got some entries. I did get an email for one week notifying that I hadn't beaten the celeb, but that's all I've gotten. 600 and something entries. C'mon, Monty, spin the bit prize wheel!

I get the lineup confirmation notices, but nothing else. I am supposed to get weekly results email, but never have. I wrote to them about this and they said that the results emails are addressed from a automated servide and are likely getting caught in my spam filter. Any prize email will be from an individual account and should come through.I am 5 for 5 and have 800-ish entries this week.
