Voted Bastille Day.
Quality choice.BTW, is that Dokken in your avatar?
 Honeymoon Suite. And you call yourself a Canadian
I'm not Canadian, eh.Thought for sure that was George Lynch at the bottom left. My bad.
Heh. For some reason I always thought you were Canadian.
NY as per my profile.
Got it. No offense intended.

2112 is my pick.

I was sad to not see the songs from the last four studio albums, especially Counterparts, my favorite Rush album, but I know all about the limited poll options and such, so it is forgiven.

Went with A Farewell to Kings. I just love the whole progression of the album and I can connect with the rant against unchecked power.

This is an easy choice for me. First time I saw rush was in the late 70's and they opened the show by playing the entire 2112 suite straight through - nearly 30 minutes non-stop. Of course I was high as ten men at the time, but can still recall the blaring "Attention all planets of the Solar Federation: We have assumed control." Perhaps not a particularly special concept, but its safe to say the the concept of an entire album side being one epic song will never happen again - it was lost when cd's came out, and completely destroyed by the advent of mp3's.

That is not true at all. There are a lot of bands that still do long epics like that. It's just that, that style of progressive rock isn't mainstream anymore, so no one hears about them.

BTW why are we ripping ourselves off? This is America. America doesn't do top 7's like some eurotrash country. It's ten. This country was built on top tens. 7? May as well be the metric system.
