BofA - Only one I am not familiar with. Last I heard they partnered with ADP for payroll
Gusto - Good inexpensive option but a little more DIY than the next 2. I would feel comfortable with Gusto with relatively simple payroll, not sure about multi-state. 401(k) or complex workers comp issues.
Paychex - My top choice. Reasonably priced, full featured and solid online interface and reporting. I find the customer support better than ADP
ADP - Does a great job of calculating payroll and remitting taxes but probably a little more expensive than Paychex in my experience and support is not quite as responsive. Would be my choice for extremely complex payroll or companies with 100+ employees but I like Paychex better for relatively simple small business payroll.
The company I work for recently (2yrs) switched from ADP to Paylocity. Saving a bunch of money. Less than 50 employees.
As a supervisor managing payroll and as a employee, it works well from both sides.
