Doesn't have to be based on career raw stats but those should be considered.
Frank Thomas with Pujols gaining fast
CareerWho is the best fielder here? Clark, with Bagwell 2nd? McGriff wasn't bad and Pujols is getting better all the time.

I think the Big Hurt, in his prime, was just as feared as Pujols as a hitter, if not moreso due to his eye. Nevertheless, I'd be happy with either.Frank Thomas with Pujols gaining fastPujols > hitter than Thomas and a MUCH > fielder than Thomas was. Easily Pujols
I voted Mo Vaughn![]()
Don Mattingly down? He should be on the list before the last five guys.
Pujols. He's the best hitter and he's got a ring.
McGwire was the most fun to watch though. Even pop-outs were awesome to see.
Mattingly is one of my favorite players ever but his best year was 1985 which is out of the range. Take that year out and it makes a big difference although he would easily be the best fielder of the group.Darth Cheney said:Don Mattingly down? He should be on the list before the last five guys.
