Best Trades You've Made This Year (1 Viewer)

I always like to go back and look at all the trades I've made each year in my dynasty leagues. Most of my trades happen before the first game of the season. Here are a few I made this year, all in the same $250 12 team PPR league. Last year I finished last in this league, so I had the 1.1 pick. I also did trades last year that landed me the 1.3 and 1.5 rookie picks.

May 19:

I traded Turner (at this point, it was thought he'd be traded), Chambers, Cotchery, 1.5 rookie pick (ended up being M.Bush), 2008 3rd

I received DeAngleo, Boldin, 2.2 rookie pick (ended up being J. Russell) 2.6 rookie pick (ended up being Bowe), 2008 2nd

Aug 3:

I traded Caddy, DeAngelo, V.Davis, Llyod, Jets D

I received Gore, Chester Taylor, Watson, M. Robinson, Colts D

Aug 7:

I traded Lynch (who I drafted with the 1.3 rookie pick) Cotchery

I recieved Alexander, Driver

Aug 11:

I traded Alexander, Driver

I received Portis, Santana Moss, 2008 2nd

ONLY IN SEASON TRADE Nov 9:

I traded Russell, Ginn, Jacoby Jones, 2 2008 2nd rounders

I received Calvin Johnson, Bryant Johnson, Losman

Current Roster (Team is 7-4, in 4th place in VP standings, only 5 VPs points behind the 1st place team)

Trade 1:

Traded after Week 6 - Edge, TJ, Steve Smith, Jeff Garcia

Received after Week 6 - LJ, TO, Kitna

Trade 2:

Traded after Week 6 - LJ, Santonio Holmes, Peyton

Received after Week 6 - LT, Housh, Brees

So ultimately in one week, I got rid of Edge, TJ, Steve Smith, Jeff Garcia, Peyton, and Santonio Holmes....for LT, TO, Kitna, Brees, and Housh. After all of these injuries or drops in production (Edge/Smitty), this trade has greatly improved my team (if anyone cares, haha).

3 trades that really put me over the top this year were all done before the season started. 14 team dynasty league.

I traded maroney for KJ and Brandon Marshall

Traded Peyton Manning for Tom Brady/Chambers and Tashard Choice

Traded Steve Smith/chester Taylor for Randy Moss/Brandon Jacobs.

Also nabbed Wes Welker after someone dropped him. Still cant believe that one but all this was done before the season stared.

Dynasty league

On draft day I traded Lamont Jordan and Brandon Jackson for Marshawn Lynch and a pick that turned in to Anthony Gonzales. That trade looks like it's gonna work out in my favor.

My team's performance has been mediocre at best due to injuries but is still solidly in the playoff hunt and if it makes the playoffs could do some damage. With that in mind, and with QB having been my least scoring position (Leinart, Rivers) I traded Jamarcus Russell for Brett Favre last week. Present for the future.

I'm 6-5 right now.

I'm currently 10-1 with 1 loss where I lost by about 7 points.

My team is stacked I'm playing against guppies and if I don't win this league it will be due to luck on someone elses part. I work the waiver wire hard as well as trades. I'm always trying to upgrade my team. But lately guys don't want to trade me for they feel whoever I'd trade to them will get injured or under perform.
