Best value picks (1 Viewer)

I know these are incredibly hard to gauge before the season, as the end of the season will usually prove these kinds of threads pointless.

But based on where their ADP is, i really think some players will outperform their slot.

Jerricho Cotchery, the guy is going from the 6-9 round and that is wrong. He has averaged 80+ catches in the last two years, and is getting a HOF QB to pass now, think 90+ catches with 10 TD's

Selvin Young, rounds 5-7, clear cut starter with only Michael Pittman vying for playing time. Will run for over 1000 and catch 60+ balls, should be going in 3rd round IMO

Roddy White, Everyones favorite, is going 6-8 love him for PPR leagues especially

Owen Daniels, rounds 9-13, His stat line wont be much different from the TE's not named Witten or Gates, shouldnt be going this far down, great great value

This will be called controversial but Reggie Bush is going way to low in PPR leagues, he should never be going in the 4th round in those and i have seen him there many times. 3rd round pick no brainer in PPR only

Also like Reggie Williams, Ronald Curry, Reggie Brown, Ricky Williams, and of course Chris Perry

10 TDs seems more like wishful thinking to me. I agree that Cotchery is generally a good value in most drafts, but 6-9 round (in recent weeks) is probably more like 5-7 rounds this week (i.e. his value seems to be getting more marginal with each passing day with his ADP rocketing up the charts). The word is out on Cotchery it seems.

I'll list all of them and bold the best one in my eyes at each position

RB - Willie Parker, Selvin Young, LenDale White, Chris Perry, Kevin Smith, and Maurice Morris

WR - Brandon Marshall, Greg Jennings, Santonio Holmes, Lee Evans, Dwayne Bowe, Roddy White, and Derek Hagan

QB - Drew Brees, Derek Anderson, Matt Hasselbeck, Jay Cutler, Jake Delhomme, Matt Schaub, David Garrard

TE - Alge Crumpler, Todd Heap, Owen Daniels

thought so too, but i grabbed him in the 7th of a 12 teamer last night, thought he would go much higher

unless Marshall gets thos 3 games overrulled that is too many guaranteed games on the bench to warrant such a high draft pick

So my team with LenDale, Marshall, and Anderson might be pretty good? I got Addai, MJD, Ocho Cinco(aargh) to go with them.

Derek Hagan? Not that the MIA passing game will be lighting the world on fire, but what are you expecting from him (especially compared to their other WRs)? Are you saying Hagan ends up as their best producing WR this season?

I love people thinking like this in my drafts....the way I see it, is that I get past the first (probably) 2 games without him and then have him for the rest of the season ... his final numbers are lower, but his points per game numbers should be the same or better than last year. I wouldn't reach for him, but I am not letting him slide down more than a spot or two then if he didn't have the probably 2-game suspension looming.

There's speculation it may get reduced to 1 game, regardless I think it ends up at 2. In the early 4th he's a nice value.

I think Hagan outproduces Ginn, yes, I expect WR3 numbers from him at backup prices.

I think that LJ is being drafted as the #9 RB on average makes him a decent value as I believe him to be a pretty safe pick to produce RB1 numbers. he won't put up 2000 combined yds and 20 TD, but I think 1500 combined and 8-10 TD is good value at the latter part of the 1st round in larger leagues.

Marshall is simply a BEAST. I've been targeting him late 3rd/4th where ever I can get him.

I have been getting great value on,

Cotchery

Roddy White

Derick Mason

Nate Burleson

Zach Miller

Leon Washington / Thomas Jones (more so before Favre)

Warrick Dunn

Galloway - this guy always falls
