Best Week 16 single-team lineup? (1 Viewer)

It's championship week, which is great for a lot of you, but for some of us it just mean we don't have anything except consolation brackets to play for. So with no money or championship on the line, you can do stupid things like submit a roster consisting solely of players from one NFL team.

In a QB-RB-RB-WR-WR-TE-K-DEF format, what would your best single team roster look like? Obviously Denver comes to mind, but as a homer, I submit to you my Week 16 Loser Bowl lineup:

Atlanta @ San Francisco, Monday Night Football

QB - Kapper

RB - Gore

RB - Hunter (yikes, I know)

WR - Crabtree

WR - Boldin

TE - Davis

K - Dawson

DEF - SF

Honestly, I think given the matchup, this lineup is legitimate. You just need Kendall Hunter to fall on another fumbled kickoff this week. :)

What single team lineup would you consider starting this week if you had nothing really riding on it?

Detroit has potential:

Stafford

Bush

Bell

Megatron

Burleson

Pettigrew

Akers

Det D

I think because of the potential offensive production they may outsscore the SF line-up. D should get 4 sacks and 2 to's minimum.

Week 15 likely would have been this:

Alex Smith 17 of 27 for 285 and 5 passing TDs

Jamaal Charles 8 rushes, 20 yards - rushing TD; 8 catches for 195 yards - 4 receiving TDs

Kniles Davis 9 rushes, 34 yards - rushing TD; 2 catches for 8 yards

Donnie Avery 2 catches for 33 yards

Dwayne Bowe 3 catches for 24 yards

Sean McGrath 2 catches for 14 yards - receiving TD

Ryan Succup 8 extra points

Chiefs DEF/ST 5 interceptions, including a 47 yard return for TD by Eric Berry

How about this squad, coming off a huge win and pushing hard to stay in playoff contention against a banged up, piss poor BUF team:

QB Tanehill

RB Daniel Thomas

RB Lamar Miller

WR Mike Wallce

WR Brian Hartline

TE Charles Clay

K Caleb Sturgis

DEF Miami DEF

QB - Romo

RB - Murray

RB - who cares

WR - Dez

WR - Austin

TE - Witten

K - Bailey

DEF - Dallas

Yeah, after I posted this I started thinking about San Diego. Notice that I'm talking about Week 16 specifically, and Week 16 San Diego gets Oakland at home. The SDG roster you posted above may very well beat many championship rosters this week.

BTW, this is not hypothetical. I am actually starting the San Francisco roster this week that I listed in the original post. :)

Huge hit or miss squad right there.
