Better Keeper: OBJ (lose 1st rd pick) v. J. Howard (16th rd)? (1 Viewer)

I'm going to end up drafting 6th in a 12-team PPR keeper league (snake draft). I'm trying to decide between OBJ (I'd lose my 1st round pick) or Jordan Howard (16th round pick- he went undrafted in my league last year).

Leaning toward keeping Howard and taking a chance with the best option still on the board with the #6 pick.

That is what I would do.  Howard for 16th round is highway robbery.

It feels wrong to let Beckham go, especially as he's highly unlikely to fall back to you, but yeah, Howard is such an amazing value.

I should add that as the keeper picks keep rolling in, it's looking like M. Thomas, T.Y., and maybe Dez will be the best WRs left on the board at #6 (if I go the Howard keeper route).

Howard for a 16th round pick is incredible value.

If you can still come back and grab one of those WR's you mentioned at #6 I would definitely do it.  Considering if you keep OBJ and don't have a pick until the mid 2nd round.  What do you think will be available there?

I think it is an easy choice to keep Howard over OBJ.  The value is too good and you will still get a quality player at 1.06.  The fact that you wouldn't get a second player until your second pick by keeping OBJ contributes as well.  OBJ plus your second pick isn't nearly as good as Howard, 1.06 and 2nd rounder
