BIG BEN @ TENN (1 Viewer)

Can Big Ben deliver against a tough Tenn Defense.

I'm thinking it will be easier to pass than run against and I am hoping for 2 Td's from Big Ben

Am I on track or what?

As of now (weather issues may change the plan), I am going to start Ryan FitzPatrick over Ben. Fitz plays a pathetic Cleveland team and I simply think that that game will be more high scoring. Tenn has been backsliding on offense and the Pitt D should be able to bring home a win without requiring much out of Ben.

Cleveland's D has been playing much better, but giving up some yards. I would be careful starting Fitzpatrick in the Dawg Pound. I just picked up there D to start. The return of Sean Jones has helped that unit out.I am by no means recommending starting Ben, but it is certainly an interesting option if you have a strong team. Seems to me like he's a good bet to get 200 and 1 regardless of who he plays

Outside of 2-3 games, Roethlisberger has been useless as a fantasy starter this season. But it would be pretty sad if he can't do well against a Tennessee defense without Haynesworth and Vanden Bosch. It's not a tough matchup by any means. The Steelers should be able to run the ball and that should enable Roethlisberger to succeed since he tends to play well when he can use play action effectively.

2 overall Td's whether it's run/pass is possible but he won't have over 250 yards. He's not a good start and there will be a lot of lesser named QB who outpoint him this week, like Orlovsky.

45 degrees and 60% chance of rain here in Nashville on Sunday. Also, it is raining every day prior to the game...and has been for 3 days already.

He'll get some yards, but to expect more than 1 TD would be foolish. I'd also look at a pick or two.

With TENN's injuries I think this a good week for the Steelers to try and get their offense back on track. On the other hand both teams will probably want to show as little as possible since they may meet again in a few weeks.

I think Ben will throw early and if the Steelers can get the lead they'll just pound the ball rest of way and put the game in the hands of the defense.

I have Ben and Eli and am benching both for D. Orlovsky. Can't believe I'm letting my Superbowl ride on D. Orlovsky but the guy has actually played pretty well and as a Saints fan I've seen first hand what our pass defense can do. I also think that with the Saints out of the playoffs coach Payton will let Brees throw all day to make sure that he breaks Marino's yardage record. The Lions will have no choice but to pass to keep up. This game will be high scoring and the Saints have actually stopped the run pretty well the last half of the season so look for Orlovsky to have a very good game. I'm guessing at least 260 and 2 TDs. I think Big Ben could have an ok game @ Tenn but the odds are that both teams try and run the ball until one is force to pass from behind.

Now the forecast is for 32 degrees and a 60% chance of snow.
Roethlisberger has handled snow well. That shouldn't be an issue. The concern would be high winds.

Would love to start him, but a big dog, going Hill vs Rams, need the upside, Rams can't stop anyone.

don't have Ben, but i think he makes for a great start today. if he's your hope in fantasy Super Bowl, i think you're in great hands.
