Big Ben vs SD (1 Viewer)

Well after my draft, I felt pretty good with Big Ben as my bye week fill in for Vick. But now....who knows. I am stuck with Ben vs SD next week (unless I can find some hidden gem on the WW) and I am very worried.

Anyone else have to go with Ben this week? What should we expect?

We can start 2 QBs and I plan on starting him as 1. The Steelers offensive line played a great game last week against Cincinnati and gave Ben plenty of time.

Ben was obviously still rusty but was also victimized by some drops. He made a few really stupid mistakes and forced the ball when he didn't need to. Normally Ben doesn't do that and so I am hoping he used the extra week to get his head straight.

One thing he did say last week was that the coaching staff told him that he needs to get back to running the ball instead of forcing a throw or taking a sack.

I am expecting Ben will benefit from the time off, especially to work with his receivers, which he hasn't really had that much time to do.

Of course a lot of this may be me whistling past the graveyard.

I never thought I'd have to debate whether to start Roethlisberger, but my Brad Johnson matchup vs. Detroit next week is tempting.

I hope the bye-week did him some good. I expect a very nice second half, and the Chargers' secondary isn't exactly their strength.

I'll probably go with Big Ben and hope for the best.
