I love Big Ben, but he is KILLING me in two different leagues right now. In my dynasty, I'm just going to have to go with Eli. But in redraft I am scrambling to find another QB, make a trade, etc.
He is out of my lineup until he can show something, and right now in re-draft I'd call him an avoid.
His talent hasn't changed ... but the o-line is awful. He's a "stay away" guy for me. If you have him, I'd bench him for just about anyone. If you're trading for him, I'd only consider the lowest of buy lows.
Not that they are any great shakes but the line should improve slightly this week if Legursky and Scott come back from their injuries as expected. It still is a below average line but last week they were inept and with Legursky and Scott back they are merely bad.
OC Bruce Arians needs to stop going to empty sets and keep some bodies back to block. It would also help if they shortened up their routes and called an occasional screen pass to keep the defense honest. Until this happens Ben is definitely a risky start.
Hang onto him, if you can stay competitive he has a sweet schedule down the stretch. Id imagine they will tweak the offense a bit to suit their terrible OLine. He can only improve from this point.

This is what I've been saying for two weeks now and we still haven't seen it yet, Arians needs to max protect with a RB to Ben's left, and TE on his right, and let the WR's run their routes. It's obvious that he just doesn't have enough time to go downfield, and you can't just dump the ball off with short routes all day either, but yes, more of that right now couldn't hurt...give Ben time and things change ALOT.I'm fully expecting blocking schemes to change this week, but I expected it last week also and it didn't happen.
