Just finished watching the Canadian version of Big Brother Canada, Season 3. They announced at the end of the show last night that the American version starts on Wednesday, June 24th.
A few twists that the Canadian version did, first off, the very first HOH comp happens usually like a day or so after everyone meets everyone. Due to editting and taping of the show, we see it on the first episode. What the Canadian version did was have EVERYONE go to the diary room and picked TWO people to put up. The top two vote getters were the candidates.
Also there was a show where there was a triple eviction. They voted off on one person, as per the normal way and then they did a comp for HOH where that person would put up THREE people and the remaining house guests voted on who they wanted to STAY. The two with the least number of votes were gone.
Lastly, when they were down to the final three, they were told that they had to vote one of the jury members off. Interesting take for sure.
