Somehow two mocks got grafted together in the formatting...

Glad we could provide entertainment on a Sunday Night.

While I have your attention, interviews coming up on the audible this week:

Russ Lande, Lead Scout, Sporting News

Matt Waldman, Rookie Scouting Portfolio

Josh Buchanan, d2football.com and small school prospect expert

Also Ken Kravec from 4 pints productions, talking about his fantasy football movie coming out this year.

My aplologies to everyone, nobody to blame for the mix-up but myself!!I hope the actual version is half as entertaining as the original but I don'tsee how it can be. I do have to say as a fan of the shark pool, I love howNOTHING got by and you guys ripped it to shreds, making impossible to be re-posted again. Have at the final version, because I know you guys didn't fill up on the last one. One Love :P

Is the one that's up now the "official" one? If so, sounds like I missed out on some hijinks.
how so?
What was the mixup? The one that's up is the real one?
Yes it is the real one, the mix-up was on my part, putting a different first and second round draft together. I was updating the first round and did not seperate the two, the fault was mine and I accept that. Please enjoy the one posted currently as there will be updates as the draft draws near.

Good. I was hoping you weren't apologizing for the one that was up since I think it's pretty good.

Version 2.0 should be available Wed/Thurs sometime. However, I've gotten bored with the first 5 picks, so I've put in a trade that has a very low liklihood of happening just to make it interesting.

Excellent work, especially compared to the first attempt (you won't live that one down for awhile) but a few questions still remain for me:

1. Is Olsen that good of a TE prospect that the Dolphins pass on Levi at OT, arguably their biggest need?

2. Okoye is a DT and would be a good fir at nose in the 3-4, but your comment about Carriker is way off the mark, as he is a perfect DE for the 3-4.

3. That is the highest I've seen Kalil go and I just can't see him going that high althtough there is a need at Center for Pittsburg. Gutsy call, I like it.

4. I think Dallas will lean toward filling holes in the lineup rather than BPA and Dallas seems pretty stacked at OLB right now. I look for them to either trade down (they are in a prime spot) or pick a bigger area of need.

5. I can't see Oakland taking a RB at 2.1 with som many offensive linemen still on the board.

6. Harrell seems to have really dropped for you. Any reason? I though he would go higher?

7. I like the Quinn/Jarrett to Minny picks and the Bills combo of Hall/Booker ... a lot!

8. You have Alama-Francis ahead of Charles Johnson and don't even mention LaMarr Woodley or Victor Abiamiri (who I like a lot).

All in all, an excellent read. No criticism, just looking for insight into your thought process. :banned:

Thanks for the feedback and no I am sure I won't live it down for a long long time. :stalker: in response:1. Perhaps not with the trade between Houston and Atlanta, Levis may still be there and if so I think he would be a better fit, but Olsen I think would be a great match as well2. I agree he could fit in a 3-4 but I disagree that it would be a perfect fit. He plays better in a straight-line than in open space.3. Kalil is flat out the man at center and anyone who gets him gets a rock for many years.4. I might agree if the BPA wasn't Posluszny who I think is going to be great in the NFL.5. Valid point but there are a lot of needs and I went with Pittman.6. I have him as the 3rd pure DT, but the depth on the d-line is incredible and Harrell could easily go to any team running a 4-3 in the first round.8. Again the depth that could have either Woodley or Abiamiri going late first or even as far as early third is just incredible. Your love for Victor is well founded, depth is there this year

Dang, you know, reviewing my impressions of Carriker, you're right. He really does play better in a straight line. I pimped him at 3-4 DE for the 49ers in my OTC picks, but maybe that's asking too much.

No I wouldn't go that far, he has the speed and smarts to play OLB but it's not where he is strongest

On the AZ selections:

Local word is that Adams has passed Branch on the Cards wish list....I like your second round call though.

That doesn't surprise me, alot of people have Branch falling and either player would be a sound pick.

300 lb. OLB?

Is there any good reason why the Redskins wouldn't do the maximum hype thing by taking Quinn at 6?
Because Jason Campbell looked like a real NFL QB toward the end of the season last year?
Oh sure. And I like Campbell myself. But Danny Snyder drafting another Notre Dame QB to take them to the Super Bowl? I can see it. Had Quinn changed his name to Winn for his senior season, it would be a lock.

Sorry but I don't see how Griffith falls to #57, and if he is available at #56 and Denver doesn't take him I'm personally going to kick Shanny in the Jimmy.
